Crossing a threshold is an aesthetic moment

The threshold of a glass door that divides rooms or separates indoors from out, always generates a perception of self in those who cross it or allow their eyes to run its contour. Our proposals aim to reduce the visual perception and physical dimensions of the elements that characterise the threshold area. We design engineered solutions to hide the structural elements of a window beneath the flooring, in the ceiling or in the masonry, creating bright, open spaces that are a feast for the eyes and a joy to experience. With our intervention, a threshold is no longer perceived as an obstacle, or as an element separating two rooms, but as a continuum in the same space, an aesthetic moment designed to allow the contemplation of a particularly beautiful outdoor landscape, or to enjoy the comfort of one's own living space.
